The Downfall of Babylon
Weekly Sermon Sunday 9 April, 2017
Here is an old Christian Identity pastor by the name of Alan Campbell from Northern Ireland. The topic of the The Downfall of Babylon is one that is relevant to today. For we are told in Revelation that the end times will be like Babylon, that we will have a Babylonian System. We are also told by Scripture that the government is the Babylonian System and what represents it more than – sorry to say – America? The people who supports the American government thinks that they can do no wrong; just look at what is happening in Syria today. However, the American people are waking up and realizing that this is the case.
One Identity pastor by the name of Ted Weiland has a sermon questioning is Donald Trump the Cyrus of Scripture or Nebuchadnezzar? Good question. As he said, he is looking more like Nebuchadnezzar. For those that are not familiar with Nebuchadnezzar, I’ll include some relevant verses below.
Will Donald Trump Be Another Nebuchadnezzar?
Will Donald Trump Be Another Nebuchadnezzar? There are a lot in common between Nebuchadnezzar and Donald Trump. Both were head of a great kingdom, both rich, both arrogant.
There is a story in the Bible about a rich ruler who was also very narcissistic (the Bible didn’t use that word but other words to describe this type of character). Because of this he lost his kingdom and was homeless for three years until he repented. Will this happen to Trump? Time will tell.
All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar. (Dan 4:28)
At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. (Dan 4:29)
The king spake, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty? (Dan 4:30)
While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven, saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; The kingdom is departed from thee. (Dan 4:31)
And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will. (Dan 4:32)
The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. (Dan 4:33)
And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation: (Dan 4:34)
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? (Dan 4:35)
At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added unto me. (Dan 4:36)
Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase. (Dan 4:37)
